OPEN CALL · NEW YORK CITY
YOUR TALENT. YOUR NEXT CHAPTER.
Get seen. Find your people. Build something worth remembering.
A great act needs more than a moment in the spotlight. There are auditions to find, producers to meet, stages to reach, projects to finance and collaborators who understand what you are trying to create. OpenCall.NYC brings those possibilities into one place.
Whether you're a singer, drag artist, dancer, comedian, musician, magician, puppeteer, circus performer, actor, host or something the category boxes haven't caught up with yet, you deserve a clear way to introduce your work and pursue genuine opportunities.
OpenCall connects artists with curated creative opportunities: casting calls, auditions, competitive bills, independent productions and individual patronage opportunities. Some lead to paid work. Others are development or application opportunities with different terms. Each listing should tell you which before you commit.
We are building a platform for working talent and emerging talent alike—not a popularity contest disguised as an opportunity directory. The strength of your act, your professionalism and your fit for a particular production matter more than your follower count.
Explore published auditions, cast searches, competitions and production opportunities. See what the producer is looking for, where the work would take place, important dates, application requirements, selection criteria and whether the opportunity is paid.
A competition, original recording, costume, training experience, creative project or next performance might require support beyond your current resources. Approved Patronage profiles can explain your goal, its intended budget and your preferred direct-support links—so interested supporters can understand the person and purpose behind the ask.
Patronage is separate from an employment offer and from production sponsorship. Supporters contribute to an individual creative endeavor, generally without receiving advertising rights. You remain responsible for your project, funds and any promises you make.

Performers across disciplines and career stages: singers and instrumentalists; drag and nightlife artists; dancers and choreographers; stand-up comedians and improvisers; actors and spoken-word performers; magicians and illusionists; circus, specialty and variety acts; puppeteers; hosts; and the artists whose work crosses several categories.
Independent producers, creative teams and arts organizations can also submit legitimate opportunities for review. OpenCall is intended to widen the circle, not narrow it to a single genre or scene.
What you would perform or create; the creative format; expected duration; rehearsal and technical needs; and any artistic constraints or restrictions.
Whether the opportunity is paid, unpaid, competitive or developmental; proposed compensation and payment timing when applicable; travel or wardrobe expenses; ticketing obligations, if any; and how selection and cancellation work.
The responsible producer or organizer, relevant venue details when confirmed, contact route, submission deadline and anticipated notification timeline.
How your name, likeness, performance footage or submitted materials may be used; whether recording is planned; and what permission or separate agreement will be required.
No artist should have to guess whether a casting opportunity is actually a paid booking or pay a surprise fee to find out. If a posting lacks essential information, we may ask the organizer to clarify it before publication.
One stage, a new bill, and room for extraordinary acts from different disciplines. Vaudeville.NYC is an original traveling variety-competition concept being developed by HKNY Entertainment. The proposed inaugural edition features The Ten-Act Bill and audience-facing recognition through The Headliner and Encore Award.
The inaugural venue, date, cast and finalized participation terms have not yet been announced. Any future casting call will specify eligibility, selection rules, compensation or prize arrangements, rehearsal expectations and production conditions before artists are asked to accept.
Look for an opportunity that fits your craft, interests, availability and experience.
Check the producer, requirements, pay or prize details, dates and any costs or commitments before applying.
Follow the listing's application instructions. Share the materials requested—such as a performance sample, portfolio or short description of your act—without giving away more personal information than necessary.
If selected, confirm the specifics directly with the responsible producer in writing. Prepare the work, honor the agreement and take the opportunity where your talent can lead.
You don't have to wait for someone else's casting call. If you're preparing an independent artistic endeavor and seeking direct support, submit a Patronage opportunity for review. Tell us what you're pursuing, why it matters, how much you hope to raise and what supporters will see.

If you're organizing a production and looking for commercial sponsors rather than direct personal patronage, the Sponsorship side of OpenCall is intended for that separate purpose.

Artists control the portfolio materials and personal details they choose to submit for a public profile, subject to review and permission for publication. Private contact information is not automatically public. Submitting does not guarantee approval, selection, patronage, paid engagement or funding.
OpenCall.NYC is a curated discovery and introduction platform operated by CRG.cx. Independent organizers remain responsible for their own listings, contracts, compensation, safety arrangements and delivery. OpenCall does not hold artist contributions in a shared fund.
Whether you're preparing your first public performance or your hundredth, your next opportunity begins with showing the work and knowing the terms. Discover the open calls. Introduce your ambition. Make the next chapter possible.
