OPEN CALL · NEW YORK CITY
BACK THE PRODUCTION.
Get behind what New York is creating.
Some of New York’s most memorable nights begin as ideas. A performer imagines an extraordinary stage. A producer assembles a cast. An ambitious concept becomes something people can actually experience—when the right partners help bring it to life.
OpenCall.NYC connects businesses and other prospective sponsors with creative productions seeking meaningful commercial partnerships. Discover the work, meet the people behind it and explore what sponsorship can make possible.
Production sponsorship is a partnership, not just a contribution. A sponsor provides agreed financial support to a show, event or creative project and receives defined promotional benefits in return. Those benefits may include recognition on event artwork, a featured story on the production page, approved links to the sponsor’s business, live acknowledgments or audience engagement.
Every opportunity is different. The responsible producer sets the production scope, the available sponsorship packages, the delivery timeline and the promised benefits. We make those details easier to discover.
The living theater. The bill is never the same.
Vaudeville.NYC is an original traveling variety competition built around a simple idea: extraordinary talent should be able to share a stage, regardless of discipline. Singers, drag artists, dancers, comedians, magicians, musicians, puppeteers and unexpected acts can compete on the strength of their performance.
The proposed inaugural edition introduces The Ten-Act Bill, audience participation through The Headliner and Encore Award, and a host-led competition with artistic recognition. Future editions can take on entirely new themes, casts and venues.
The Inaugural Bill is in development and seeking sponsorship conversations. The performance date, venue, cast and final packages have not yet been announced. HKNY Entertainment is responsible for developing, selling and producing the show.
A duo, trio, or quartet of premier New York City drag performers that are ready to drop your jaw.
Themed brunch entertainment, including dance-forward and camp-forward residency possibilities and one-off productions.
Hosted social and matchmaking events that bring audiences together around an interactive evening.
Independent theater companies, performers, event producers, nightlife creators and other arts organizations can submit their own production sponsorship opportunities for consideration.
An approved listing introduces the producer, the idea, the purpose, the sponsorship need and the benefits being offered. It links interested businesses to the people who are actually responsible for the production.
A logo can introduce a brand. A real story can explain why it belongs there. Selected opportunities may feature an approved sponsor statement explaining why a business chose to support the work, alongside agreed links and promotional placements.
Depending on the production, sponsorship benefits may include program placement, digital recognition, host acknowledgments, or a brief, thoughtfully planned conversation with the sponsor during the event. Not every tier includes every benefit.
Each commercial arrangement should identify the producer, the sponsorship amount, promised benefits, anticipated delivery window and what happens if a production changes or cannot proceed. Sponsors should know what they are buying before they commit.
