OPEN CALL · NEW YORK CITY
YOUR BRAND. THEIR STAGE.
Back the production. Be part of the story.
New York's most memorable entertainment begins before the lights come up. There are performers to book, music to prepare, a stage to coordinate, and audiences to bring together. Sponsorship helps turn an ambitious creative production into an experience people can share.
OpenCall.NYC introduces businesses to artists and producers seeking commercial partners. Explore the work, discover what makes it worth backing, and choose an opportunity that fits your brand.
Production sponsorship supports an entire event or creative undertaking. Depending on the show, the budget may include featured performers and hosts, a DJ, a production manager, cast fees, artistic awards, promotion, equipment, logistics and other agreed production needs.
In exchange, sponsors receive defined promotional benefits from the responsible producer. A business may be recognized on the production page, in digital and physical promotional materials, in an approved sponsor story, or through a host-led acknowledgment at the event.
This is different from PATRONAGE, where someone supports an individual artist's specific personal endeavor—such as a costume, wig, pageant package or recording—and may receive no commercial advertising benefit in return.
The tiers below describe sponsorship roles commonly available productions on OpenCall.NYC. Exact prices, quantities and benefits depend on the individual production and its confirmed offer. Independently produced projects may use their own packages.
THE LEAD SPONSOR ON A SHARED BILL.
For productions supported by several businesses, the Topline Sponsor receives the highest shared-sponsorship profile rather than exclusive presenting rights.
• Premium placement on the approved event page, playbill and selected promotional artwork.
• A substantial sponsor spotlight with approved business description and website link.
• Named host acknowledgments and a scheduled sponsor conversation or audience-engagement moment when included in that production's offer.

A FEATURED BUSINESS WITH A STORY TO TELL.
A prominent mid-level sponsorship for a business that wants recognizable association with the production without taking the lead position. Some HKNY editions may offer a Spotlight level around $1,000; the exact price appears on that production's page.
• Individual linked sponsor story, visible recognition on the digital production page and selected promotional materials.
• Named host acknowledgment where contracted, with placement and frequency defined in advance.

HELP MAKE THE SHOW HAPPEN.
Production Sponsors help cover the working costs of putting a show onstage. Many HKNY production concepts have explored a $500 starting level, although actual pricing and available quantities vary.
• Approved business name, website link, and recognition on the relevant event page and shared promotional materials.
• Brief individual or grouped live acknowledgment, when the package includes onstage recognition.

SUPPORT A MOMENT WORTH REMEMBERING.
An optional sponsorship for productions with a defined Encore Award or other named audience-recognition feature. A $250 tier has been proposed for Vaudeville editions. The offer states whether the contribution is specifically allocated to an announced cash award or supports another defined benefit.
Where offered, the Encore Sponsor receives digital recognition and a named acknowledgment when the award is presented. Prize rules, amounts and sponsor responsibilities must be established by the relevant producer before the performance.

A SMALLER SPONSORSHIP. A PLACE ON THE BILL.
An accessible level for businesses that want to support a production and receive digital recognition without a larger onstage package. A $100 tier has been proposed for selected HKNY shows.
Gallery recognition generally consists of the approved sponsor name and a business link on the production's digital page. Additional benefits, if any, must be stated in the individual listing.

THE NAME ABOVE THE BILL.
The lead partnership for a production. A Presenting Sponsor underwrites the full agreed core sponsorship target in exchange for exclusive presenting rights and the most prominent recognition associated with the show.
• “Presented by” identification on approved promotional and digital materials, with premium logo placement.
• Featured linked sponsor profile and an approved statement explaining why the business backs the production.
• Opening and closing acknowledgment by the host, plus a planned interview or interactive moment when the show format permits.
• Priority positioning in the production's sponsor reporting and agreed promotional deliverables.
Exclusive presenting rights do not necessarily exclude smaller Encore or Gallery Sponsors. The agreement specifies any category exclusivity and exactly how supporting sponsors may appear.

Each production uses OpenCall.NYC's sponsorship tiers but the value of each sponsorship is contingent on that production.
We think businesses deserve more than a logo in the corner of a flyer. When appropriate, a production can feature a short, approved sponsor statement: Why did the business choose to support this work? What does the creative community mean to it? What would the sponsor like the audience to know? We can also whip up words on your behalf - we just need your why.
These are clearly identified paid sponsorship features, not implied independent endorsements. Sponsor representatives may also be invited to participate in a brief, planned conversation with the host, subject to the show format and agreement.
Explore a production that aligns with your audience, interests and business.
Ask the responsible producer about available tiers, timelines, audience context, exclusivity and exact benefits.
Agree on a written sponsorship package, payment terms, creative approvals and what happens if the production changes or cannot proceed.
Provide approved business materials. The producer delivers the agreed sponsorship benefits and confirms fulfillment after the event.
DISCUSS A SPONSORSHIP
OpenCall also welcomes production sponsorship submissions from independent producers and creative organizations. Tell us what you're building, how much support you need and what businesses will receive. We review submissions individually before publishing any opportunity.

OpenCall.NYC is a curated discovery and introduction platform operated by Champagne Revenue Group. HKNY Entertainment sells and produces its own shows. Independent listings identify the producer responsible for sponsorship agreements, funds, delivery and fulfillment.
An OpenCall listing is not a guarantee of funding, attendance, sales or project completion. A sponsorship is a commercial arrangement with its named producer, not a charitable donation through OpenCall.
